The first part of the tape consists of town footage of Mukacheve and the team greets Hershel Ylyevich Vider and Dovid on the street.

The second part of the tape includes town footage of Svalyava with a tour led by Misha (Moyshe Hersh) Berger, born in Svalyava.

The final part of the tape includes a formal interview with Anna Fedorovna Tartinets, born 1930 in Nelipyno. (Part 1 of 2. See MDV 680)

00:00:00 The team informally chats with Vider and Dovid, who came to visit his hometown from America. They talk about contemporary Jewish life in the region.
00:07:00 Berger gives a tour of the prewar Jewish neighborhood in Svalyava. They are headed to the town's synagogue. The complex around the synagogue was used as an industrial plant, bakery, during the postwar Soviet period.
00:10:12 The team arrives at the synagogue area and takes a tour, led by Berger. According to him, the synagogue was closed in 1946. An unidentified man provides information in Russian on the renovation of the synagogue.
00:14:38 The team enters the synagogue building and the camera collects footage.
00:17:28 The conversation moves outside again and they discuss contemporary Jewish life in the region.
00:19:30 The team heads with Berger to the local synagogue. Berger talks about life today in Svalyava.
00:22:22 On the way, the team and Berger briefly stop at an unidentified woman's house and briefly chat with her in German and Russian.
00:24:10 The team gets back into the van and then stops at a former synagogue, which is now used as restaurant. Berger talks about contemporary religious life. Berger owns a hotel.

00:48:16 They greet Tartinets on the street. She then recites prayers. The team drives with Tartinets to a quieter place in order to conduct a formal interview. She provides personal information and they chat in Russian.
